ORDER BY HON’BLE PRESIDENT- MR. P.K. PADHI:
JUDGMENT
Complainant took loan of Rs.6,00,000/- in 2005 and the vehicle was repossess on 12.4.2007 due to default and was auctioned and sale notice was issued on 15.6.2007. But recently on 12.10.2022 opposite parties have issued demand notice of Rs.46,60,954.62.
Matter/Dispute relates to loan repayment, which is civil in nature. Issuance of notice to recover the outstanding dues is not coming under unfair trade practice as defined U/s.2(47) of Consumer Protection Act.
Hence we find no merit in the consumer complaint and accordingly the consumer complaint is dismissed. No cost.
Pronounced in the open Commission on this 25th July,2024.
