ORDER BY HON’BLE PRESIDENT- MR. P.K. PADHI:

                                                                                                           JUDGMENT

            Complainant has filed the consumer complaint U/s.35 of Consumer Protection Act, 2019 seeking a direction repay excess amount paid by complainant and pay cost of Rs.1,30,000/-. 

            Brief fact of the case of complainant is that during Covid-19 one loan was sanctioned to repay the 1st loan and he has not taken payment but during course of hearing both parties came for settlement and it is agreed by both parties that the opposite parties shall deduct 2/3rd of overdue charges/interest (ODI) and settle the loan. The opposite parties shall calculate and intimate the complainant regarding the amount within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of the order and the complainant shall pay the amount within 15 days after receipt of the notice/calculation. In the meantime opposite parties are directed not to repossess and not to take any coercive action against the vehicle bearing Regd. No.OD-21-J-0651. Accordingly the consumer complaint is disposed of. No cost.  

            Pronounced in the open Commission on this 21st August,2024.
