1.         B.K.Sales Corporation, SCF 17, Sec.27-C, Chandigarh-160019 through its Proprietor/owenr/manager.

2.         Luminous Power Technologies Pvt. Ltd. C-8 & C-P, Community Centre, Janakpuri, New Delhi-110058 through its Proporietor/owner/manager.

3.         Exide Industries Ltd., Plot No.24/4, Industrial Area Phase II, Chandigarh, through its Proprietor/owner/mananger.

                                                            ORDER

1.                     This case has been taken up today in the Lok Adalat. Efforts were made to settle the matter, which stood fructified and the parties have settled the dispute. Statement given by them is reproduced as under:-

“Statement of Sh.M.C.Kaushik s/o Sh.Jaswant Kaushik, Authorized Representative of OP No.2.

The matter has been settled between the parties. As per settlement, the OP No.2 has replaced the Inverter in question of the complainant make Luminous Sr.No.B5GL5L730763-1310 with new one of the same model make Luminous Sr.No.B5GL52912167-3110, with fresh warranty from today as per terms & conditions of the Company. In case if any problem occurs in the new Invertor within warranty, the same will be rectified only with new sealed part/card. Further, a sum of Rs.1100/- in cash towards costs/compensation has been paid to the complainant. I have reiceved old Invertor in question i.e. Luminous Sr.No.B5GL5L730763-1310 from the complainant.

I accept the above statement given by Sh.M.C.Kaushik, Authorized Represnetative of OP No.2. I have received new Invertor make Luminous Sr.No.B5GL52912167-3110 from OP No.2 alongwith Rs.1100/- in cash towards costs/compensation. I withdraw the present complaint as satisfied.

2.                     In view of the above statements, the complaint stands dismissed as withdrawn. However, the parties would remain bound by their statements.

3.                     Copies of this order free of cost be supplied to the parties. The file be consigned.
