ORDER

ORDER DATE-02/04/1997. The complaint is allowed. The respondent No.2 is directed to deliver a new statue of mahathma Gandhi carved in the black granite stone with proper condition and resembles to that of gandhi's photo. Alternatively to refund a sum of Rs.23,250/- along with interest a 18% p.a. from the date of receipt 19-12-95 till payment. The respondents directed to pay a sum of Rs.1,000/- as compensation to the complainant. The respondent No.2 is also liable to pay sum of Rs.500/- towards the cost of the proceedings.
