Present:        Complainant in person.

Arguments heard on admission. The grievance of the complainant pertaining to non-receipt of policy bond was first raised in November 2017 and complaint to this effect was made to IRDA in December 2017. Clearly, the limitation to file the present complaint commenced in Nov-Dec 2017 and as per the Act, the present complaint was to be filed by Nov- Dec 2019 to be covered under limitation but have instead been filed much belatedly in Mar 2020 and is therefore, time barred as per section 69(1). No application for condonation of delay has been filed under section 69(2) by the complainant. For all above reasons, the present complaint is dismissed as being time barred on grounds of limitation. No order as of Cost.
