Complainant/petitioner filed a complaint before the District Forum with the averments that he had engaged the respondent to take photographs and make video of his marriage which was celebrated on 24.5.2002.  Rs.2000/- were to be paid by way of consideration, out of which Rs.1000/- were paid as advance to the respondent.  According to the petitioner, the respondent did not take

the photographs or the video of the marriage celebrated properly and in time.  Aggrieved by this, petitioner filed a complaint before the District Forum.

          District Forum vide its order dated 03.10.2002 allowed the complaint and directed the respondent to refund the sum of Rs.1000/- which was taken as advance along with compensation of Rs.2000/- and costs of Rs.1000/-.

          Being dissatisfied with the quantum of compensation, petitioner filed an appeal before the State Commission which by the impugned order, allowed the appeal partly by increasing the compensation to Rs.3000/-.  In addition, Rs.1000/- were awarded as costs of the appeal.   Respondent has not filed any revision petition.

          Not being satisfied with the compensation awarded, the present revision petition has been filed by the complainant seeking enhancement in the compensation.

          Counsel for the petitioner contends that the respondent should be directed to supply the photographs or the video which he may have taken at the time of marriage.  As per the averments made by

the petitioner in the complaint, the respondent did not either take the photographs or make the video at the time of marriage.  In view of this, the prayer made today that the respondent be directed to supply photographs/video, cannot be accepted.  Revision petition is dismissed.  No costs.
