Today is fixed for admission hearing. During admission hearing of this complaint we have noticed that the Complainant got home treatment under the doctors as he was suffering some critical illness. Due to such treatment the Complainant had to incur medical expenses to the tune of Rs.75,250/-.  Thereafter the Complainant lodged claim with the Insurance Company, but the claim amount has not been given to the Complainant and hence this complaint is initiated by the Complainant.

The Complainant was asked by us as to whether there is any clause in the terms and the conditions of the Insurance Policy to the extent that inspite of taking home treatment, without taking admission at any medical Hospital/Nursing Home, the Complainant is entitled to get reimbursement of the treatment cost from the Insurance Company.  But the Complainant has failed to show us any such clause to our query. Due to this reason we are of the opinion that it is not a fit consumer complaint against the OPs under the purview of the C.P. 2019 and

hence the Consumer Complaint being no-CC/50/2021 is hereby rejected and dismissed without being admitted. There is no order as to cost.

Plain copy of this order be given to the party/ies free of cost as per the CPR.
