That in the monthly amount of energy charges paid by the petitioner regularly no arrear amount pending against the consumer No. 6152-5105-1543 and how suddenly the above arrear amount claimed by the O.P. The petitioner also stated that he is a innocent person and facing mental agony for the above activity of the O.P . The petitioner also requested the O.P to replace a new old meter and corrected the illegal arrear charges but the O.P is paying deaf ear to the request of the petitioner. Finding no other alternative the petitioner knocked the door of this commission in filing this dispute with the prayer waive out the illegal claim of the arrear amount of Rs. 70,209.01/- as well as compensate him a sum of Rs20,000/- for mental agony and harassment and cost of proceeding.
The notice of the present dispute duly served on the O.Ps but the O.P did not choose to file any written version or objection against the petition filed by the petitioner. Hence this commission has set exparte the O.P vide order dt .18.02.21 .
