MR. BIBEKANANDA DAS, MEMBER:-                      

                   Complainant bearing consumer A/C No. 01256891 has filed the C.C.Case seeking not to disconnect power supply and compensation of Rs. 90,000/- towards deficiency in service and mental agony. Notice was issued and interim order passed by this Commission. But both parties are absent since long and Op has not appeared. The Complainant has not described as to how there is deficiency in service when the bill continuing since long. For non-payment of arrear dues and accumulation of huge bill can’t be ground to interfere and can be treated as deficiency in service. However taking a lincant view, we are directing the Ops to deduct 30% from the bill as is being deducted by the Ops in the disputed bill provided Complainant shall pay 50% of the remaining bill within 45 days from the date of receipt of this order and rest amount is to be paid in 10 installments alongwith regular monthly bill after payment of 50%. With the aforesaid observations and direction this C.C.Case No. 31/2021 alongwith the I.A No. 12/2021 are hereby disposed off. No order as to cost.

                      Issue extract of the order to the parties for compliance.
