The Complainant has filed this C.C.Case seeking a direction for power supply to her premises and Rs. 50,000/- towards mental agony.
Facts of this case is not disputed. Complainant owner of Khata No. 2441/146, Plot No. 3630/7618 measuring Ac0.060 dec applied for new power supply by depositing Rs. 6243/- towards security against UPAN No. 20210915T, 9999112800 on dt. 16,.09.21, but due to non-supply of electricity and being aggrieved by the inaction of Ops filed the present C.C.Case , Ops have filed their objection stating that the Complainant applied for new electric connection as online UPAN No. 20210915T, 9999112800 for power supply to her premises which is duly enquired by the Ops officers physically and reported that the distance between the existing electric pole to the place of residential building of complainant approximately 300 meters. The Ops are ready & willing to effect power supply to the premises of the Complainant subject to fulfillment of required procedure and documents and also proper LT extension work which is to be estimate by the Engineers of the Ops, the cost will be borne by the Complainant(Estimate copy Annexure-A attached).
The Ld. Counsel for Complainant is present and agreed to bear the cost of the estimate for L.T. Extension from existing Pole to near her residential building. The Ops are directed to supply new electric connection within a period of 45 days after receipt of required fees by the Complainant.
With the aforesaid observations and direction the C.C.Case No. 79/2022 is accordingly disposed off.
Issue extract of the order to the parties for compliance.
