ORDER

order dated 03/10/2000 Respondents are hereby directed to refund the excess amount of Rs.2,858-70 Ps with interest at the rate of 18% per annum from the date of filing of this complaint i.e., from 20-09-1995 till payment to the complainant. Respondents are hereby directed to pay Rs.1,000/- as compensation for mental harassment. Respondents shall pay the costs of rs.500/- to the complainant. Respondents shall deduct an amount of Rs.1,429/- paid by them being 50% of Rs.2,858/- as directed by the Hon'ble State Commission in Appeal No.25/1997.
