Heard both sides.  Admittedly the meter of the petitioner was faulty from 2/2006 and the same was changed on 12/2007.  Disputed bill is issued by taking succeeding average consumption after replacement of the faulty meter.  Opposite party in their version submitted that they are ready to issue revised bill by taking the preceeding average counsel for the petitioner submitted his willingness for remitting the revised bill.  Since the faulty meter was not replaced within one month as per rEG.-33 (2) OF CONDITION OF SUPPLY 2005 we allow installment for remitting  the revised bill amount. So, bill dated 16..10..2009 for an amount of Rs. 39,207/- is cancelled.  Opposite party is ordered to issue a revised bill as submitted with within one month of receipt of the order.  Petitioner is directed to remit the revised bill in 4 equal monthly installments.  Petition is disposed accordingly with aforesaid direction.
