       No step is taken by the parties. Record shows that the Complainant was directed to file show cause several times but the Complainant has not complied with the order of this District Commission. The point to be noted is that the Complainant has not been taking steps in this case for long period.     

     The case of the Complainant in short is that the Complainant is a poor cultivator and to improve the growth of crop he obtained STW connection bearing No. 302400113 for irrigating his cultivable land of plot No. 108 measuring 47 dec, of mouza-Kumarthi. OP realised Rs. 81,131/- on 31.05.07 for augmentation of electricity towards value of 10 cement pole, wire, security deposit but only 5 cement pole had been installed. But no meter was installed and no bill was raised asking the Complainant to pay energy charges. The Complainant submitted that during rainy season no electricity energy was consumed and excepting summer season the Complainant did not consume electricity. But the Complainant received a bill amounting to Rs. 1,91,411 in the month of December, 2017 towards value of 43,416 units. The Complainant further submitted that the demand of OP i.e. Rs. 1,91,411/- is fictitious, baseless and imaginery.

           We peruse the materials on record. We find that the Complainant took no step on 10.02.20, 26.02.20, 12.03.20, 26.03.20, 09.07.20, 27.11.20, 13.01.21, 02.03.21, 06.05.21,08.07.21, 27.12.21, 29.03.22, 24.06.22, 23.09.22, 17.01.23, 28.04.23 and today i.e. 03.05.23. Moreover, considering the facts and circumstances of the case we are of the view that the instant case has no merit as the Complainant is not at all interested in the case.

        In view of the matters discussed above we are of the view that the instant case is liable to be dismissed on merit.

    In the result, the instant case fails.

    Fees paid are correct. Hence, it is

that the instant case bearing No. CC/51/2018 be and the same is dismissed on merit without cost against the OP.

Let plain copy of this order  be supplied free of cost, to each of the parties / Ld. Advocate/Agent on record, by hand /by post under proper acknowledgment  as per rules, for information and necessary action.
