Today is fixed for admission hearing. Complainant files hazira through his Ld. Advocate. Heard, perused the complaint and documents. It appears to us that prima facie a case has been made out against the Ops.
Let, the case be admitted. Requisites at once.
The complainant/petitioner files a petition U/S 38 of the C.P Act 2019 is being registered treated as M.A Case No. 24/2022.
Hence, along with a petition of complaint/petition alleging inter alia that the OP/WBSEDCL has sent excessive bill in respect of the electricity connection being ID No. 522024745 the last bill dated 02/08/2022. The OP claim Energy Charge 2988.00 and total charges Rs. 11109.99 which was excessive one and the complainant/petitioner is apprehending if the complainant would fail to pay the electric charge as claimed by the OP vide electric bill dated 02/08/2022 then the electricity connection of the complainant’s Consumer ID No. 522024745 will be disconnected by the OP/WBSEDCL.
Hence, this application is filed with a prayer to restrain the OP from disconnecting electricity connection of the complainant Consumer ID No. 522024745.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case as well as the balance of convenience and inconvenience of the same it appears that there is a prima facie case in favour of the petitioner .Hence, the OP/WBSEDCL is here by restrained from disconnection of the electricity connection of the complainant/petitioner on payment of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) immediately.
Complainant/petitioner is directed to serve the notice upon the OP at once.

That the prayer for restoration of the electricity connection in the premises in question of the complainant as prayed for in the application U/S 38 of the C.P Act 2019 is hereby considered and allowed exaprete.
Thus the M.A. Case No. 24/2022 is disposed of.
