The case of the complainant is that the opposite parties booked false case alleging theft of energy without verifying all the  connections in the house to harass the complainant and disconnected the supply and sent a letter assessing electricity charges as Rs.1,29,939/- and demanded to pay Rs.64,920/- for restoration of supply. It is the further case of the complainant that the opposite parties issued another notice to pay Rs.11,000/- for compounding the offence and the  complainant paid both the amounts and got the supply restored. It is the further case of the complainant that the previous demand notices and receipts filed by her clearly reveal that there was no pilferage/theft of energy and the opposite parties filed false case against her and the opposite parties are liable to refund the amount collected from her.
