Complainant is present in person.  The respondent is represented by the counsel.  Amicus Curie is also present.

Heard.

This is a complaint filed against an Advocate alleging deficiency in service.  In view of the law as settled by the Apex Court in Bar of Indian Lawyers vs. D. K. Gandhi PS National Institute of Communicable Diseases 2024 SCC OnLine SC 928, no consumer dispute would arise with respect to the service rendered by an Advocate.  In view of the settled position as laid down by the Apex Court, the present complaint is not maintainable.

In the result, the complaint stands dismissed.  However, we make it clear that this order will not be a bar for the complainant in resorting to any other remedy available to the complainant in accordance with law.
