ORDER

A perusal of the file reveals that the OPs i.e. Asian Paints Limited  in their reply to the notice of the complainant offered the complainant  Rs.21,425/- which includes the full refund cost of paint purchased by the complainant, labour and equipment charges and cost of legal notice.  Since the OPs are ready to  pay the aforesaid amount to the complainant, we feel that there is no need to drag the litigation unnecessarily. Therefore, we direct the OPs to pay Rs.21,425/-  to the complainant  towards full and final settlement, within 30 days from the date of  receipt of certified copy of the order, failing which the said amount shall be paid with interest @18% p.a. from the date of passing of this order by the OPs.  In case the complainant is not satisfied, he would have liberty  to file fresh complaint.  With these directions the complaint stands disposed off.

                   Certified copy be sent to the parties free of charge. After compliance file be consigned.
