Ld. Judges of the National Lok Adalat discussed the issue with the parties and their Ld. Lawyers.

In course of discussion it is settled that the Opposite parties Company ASUS INDIA (Op. No.3) shall replace the Laptop of the Complainant with a new Laptop of same Model and Configuration, specification within 15 days from the date of this award to the Complainant and Complainant shall collect the said new laptop from the Calcutta office of the Op. No. 3 situated at Hasting Chamber, 7C Hiran Shankar Roy Road, Room No. 206, Kolkata -700001 and the said new laptop shall bear 6 Months extended warranty from the date of handover of the New Laptop along with Replacement advice.

In the light of the observation made above this case is settled through Lok Adalat.

In the event of failure of the Opp. Company to carry out the direction of this award, the Complainant is giving liberty to execute the order as per law.

Let a copy of this order be handed over to the parties at free of cost.
