                                                            ORDER

 

1.                     This case has been taken up today in the Lok Adalat. The matter has been settled between the parties. Statement given by them is reproduced as under:-     

                            

“Statement of Sh.Jatinder Nara, Counsel for the OP-1

The matter has been settled between the parties.  That I brough a  cheque no. 294994 dated 03.12.2010 of State Bank of Patiala, High Court Branch, Chandiarh amounting to Rs.4,031/- in the name of complainant (Sameer Bhardwaj) and I have also brought receipt of cheque no. 464058 dated 03.11.2010 amouting to Rs.29,500/- in favour of Secretary State Legal Services Authority, U.T. Chandigarh. The same may please be taken on record. Consequently, the full and final payment as per the order dated 24.02.2010 passed by the Hon`ble State Commission, Chandigarh, has been made. It is therefore requested that the present criminal complaint may kindly be dismissed as withdrawan.

The matter has been settled between the parties.  I have received the above said cheque towards full and final settlement of the present case and nothing is pending to be received from the OP. Hence,  I withdraw the present criminal complaint as satisfied. It is therefore requested that the present criminal complaint may kindly be dismissed as withdrawn”.

 

 

2.                     In view of the above statements, the criminal complaint stands dismissed as withdrawan. However, the parties would remain bound by their statements.

3.                     The certificate issued to the Collector concerned under Section 25(3) of the C.P.Act is hereby cancelled and be called back.

4.                     Copies of this order free of cost be supplied to the parties. The file be consigned.
