          This is a complaint filed by the Complainant  under Section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986  praying to allow the complaint and declare that the Opposite Party has committed deficiency of service and unfair trade practice in repudiating the claim of the complainant; direct the Opposite Party to settle the claim of the complainant; to pay  Rs.2,00,000/- towards compensation for causing mental agony and also pay Rs.50,000/- towards costs, in the interest of justice.

          Counsel on both sides present. Counsel for Complainant filed a memo stating that the matter has been settled amicably by and between the parties.  In the circumstances, memo is recorded in terms of the memo therein and the complainant is permitted to withdraw the complaint and the same is dismissed as withdrawn.
