Dated the 23rd day of January, 2013 ORDER This order will dispose of the application filed by the applicant/OP-Ansal Properties and Infrastructure Limited praying therein that it be permitted to deposit a sum of Rs.7,33,540/- in compliance of the order dated 20.12.2012 passed by the Hon’ble State Commission, U.T. Chandigarh. Vide order dated 20.12.2012 passed in FA/410/2012, the Hon’ble State Commission, U.T. Chandigarh, was pleased to stay the operation of the impugned order qua the appellant, subject to deposit of half of the amount awarded in this case, with the concerned District Forum, within 20 days, from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, in addition to the amount already deposited, at the time of filing the appeal. On photocopy of the order dated 20.12.2012, the date of certified copy of order is 21.12.2012. However, it is stated in the application that certified copy of the order was received on 3.1.2013. So, without prejudice to the rights of the complainant, the applicant/OP is permitted to deposit the amount. The office is directed to deposit the Manager’s Cheque of Rs.7,33,540/- bearing No.012000, dated 19.01.2013 drawn on HDFC Bank, in the account of District Forum, in the shape of F.D.R in a Nationalised Bank, having maximum interest, for a period of one year, to be renewed from time to time, if needed. The application stands disposed of accordingly. Copy of this order be placed on record of the Execution Petition file, if any.
