Mosim Khan   –   Complainant.

1.         Anmol Watches & Electronics (P) Ltd., Chandigarh – OP No.1.

2.         M/s Sony Ericsson, Chandigarh – OP No.2.

3.         M/s Sony Ericssion Communication (India) Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi –  OP No.3.

 

Present:           Complainant in person.

OP No.1 & 3 ex-parte.

Dated, the 5th day of February, 2010.

                        ORDER

1.                     This case has been taken up today in the Lok Adalat. Efforts were made to settle the matter, which stood fructified and the parties have settled the dispute. Statement given by them is reproduced as under:-

“Statement of Sh.Vipin Chander s/o Sh.Gopal Dutt, Engineer/Representative of OP No.2-Sony Ericssion C/o RT Outsourcing Service Centre, SCO No.23, Sector 18, Chandigarh.

 

The matter has been settled between the parties. The OP No.2 will replace the old mobile handset in question of the complainant with new one of the same model with fresh warranty of one year within fifteen days from today i.e. 5.2.2010.

 

Statement of Sh.Mosim Khan s/o Sh.Pola Khan, Complainant in person.

 

I accept the above statement given by Sh.Vipin Chander, Engineer/Representative of OP No.2. I will handover the accessories of old mobile handset in question to OP No.2 at the time of receiving the new handset. The complaint may be disposed of accordingly.”

 

2.                     In view of the above statements, the complaint stands disposed of. The OP No.2 would replace the old mobile handset in question of the complainant with new one of the same model with fresh warranty of one year within fifteen days from today i.e. 5.2.2010. The complainant would handover the accessories of old mobile handset in question to OP No.2 at the time of receiving the new handset. 

3.                     Copies of this order free of cost be supplied to the parties. The file be consigned.
