The above mentioned matters pending before us relates to heft of Electricity In view of the order passed by Honle Supreme Court in .P.Power Corporation Ltd. and Others Vs. Anis Ahmed(Civil Appeal No.5466 of 2012 decided on 1.7.2013), the complaints filed in the present case before the District Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986, are not maintainable. Consequently, consumer complaints filed by respondents/ complainants respectively, before the District Forum are also not maintainable. Accordingly, present revision petitions filed by the petitioners/opposite parties stand allowed and complaints filed before the District Forum stand dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the respondents to seek appropriate remedy available to them before the appropriate Forum. Dasti.
