It is not disputed that pursuant to the orders passed by this Commission, the District Forum has quantified the amount of Rs.33,000/- for the purpose of rectification of the defects and completion of the flat in question and the opposite party builder has since paid the said amount to the complainant / petitioner. 2. Complainant / petitioner, further submits that he has not been fully compensated inasmuch as no compensation was awarded by the District Forum or the State Commission for the delay in completion of the construction of the flat and its handing over the possession. It is stated that there was about two years delay. Having considered all the circumstances and that the total price of the flat was around Rs.5 lakh, we are of the view that it would be adequately meet the justice if the opposite parties called upon to pay a further sum of Rs.25,000/- to the complainant / petitioner towards the delay in construction and handing over the possession of the flat in question. The revision petition is disposed off in above terms. The amount shall be paid within a period of four weeks from today failing which it will carry interest @12% p.a.
