The complaint is filed to get back the amount remitted in the kuri with interest. The case of the complainant is that the complainant had joined in the kuri conducted by respondents by No.100 having a total sala of Rs.30,500/- and 61 monthly instalments of Rs.500/- each. The complainant had remitted Rs.16,000/- by 32 instalments. There after the kuri company was closed and she could not remitted the balance. So lawyer notice was issued to return the amount remitted. But there is no remedy. Hence the complaint.
 
2. Respondents are declared exparte.
 
            3. In order to prove, the complainant has filed affidavit and three documents which are marked as Exhibits P1 to P3.
 
            4. The case of the complainant is that she had remitted Rs.16,000/- in the kuri by 32 instalments and the further instalments could not be remitted for no fault of her own. In the meantime the kuri company has been closed. Hence the complainant is entitled to get Rs.16,000/- with 12% interest from 26/1/04.
 
            5. There is no evidence to the contrary.
 
            6. In the result complaint is allowed and the respondents are directed to pay the complainant Rs.16,000/- (Rupees Sixteen thousand only) with 12% interest from 24/1/04 till realization with cost Rs.1000/- (Rupees One thousand only) within one month.
