ORDER SRI.P.V.JAYARAJAN: PRESIDENT This is a complaint filed under section 12 of Consumer Protection Act 1986 and the matter stood over to this date for consideration.After hearing the matter the commission passed an order as follows: This is a complaint filed by the complainant against the opposite parties alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite parties. After admitting the complaint, notice was issued to the opposite parties. The 1st opposite party filed written version denying the allegation raised by the complainant. On 03/09/2022 the matter was referred for settlement talk scheduled to be held on 29/09/2022. On 29/09/2022 the complainant and 2nd opposite party present and submitted that the matter is settled for Rs.15,000/- and the 2nd opposite party agreed to pay the said amount within 30 days from the date of settlement. Hence the case was adjourned to this date for payment of the settlement amount by the 2nd opposite party to the complainant. When the case came up for consideration today, the complainant filed a memo stating that she has received a DD No.941927 for a sum of Rs.15,000/- from the 2nd opposite party. The complainant further submitted that in view of the settlement, she is not willing to further proceed with this complaint. The memo filed by the complainant is accepted and recorded. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties to the proceedings, we find that this is a fit case to be dismissed as settled. In the result the complaint is dismissed a settled. There will be no order as to cost. A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
