                   The following order of the Commission was delivered by Justice Shantanu S. Kemkar, President:

                      This appeal arises out of order dated 02.09.2019 in case no.173/2018 passed by the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Ujjain, (for short ‘Forum’), whereby the Forum has dismissed the complaint filed by the appellant / complainant on the ground that the relief claimed in the complaint is beyond its pecuniary jurisdiction.

2.                On going through the impugned order it is revealed that the appellant / complainant has valued the complaint for Rs.2,67,16,000 and also claimed the relief beyond the pecuniary jurisdiction of the Forum.  Thus the relief claimed being more than the pecuniary jurisdiction of the Forum, the Forum, in our considered view, has committed no error in passing the impugned order. 

3.                However, we grant liberty to the appellant / complainant to seek appropriate remedy before appropriate Forum in accordance with law.

4.                With the aforesaid liberty, the appeal stands disposed of.
