Above noted petitions pertain to heft of Electrify In view of the decision of Hon’ble Supreme Court in U.P. Power Corporation Ltd. and Ors. Vs. Anis Ahmed (Civil Appeal No. 5466 of 2012) decided on 01.07.2013, the complaints filed in above noted cases before the District Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 are not maintainable. Consequently, present revision petitions are also not maintainable and the same are hereby dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner/complainant to seek appropriate remedy available to him before the appropriate forum. Dasti.
