It is pertinent to mentioned here that both the parties have stated before this Lok Adalat that above amount will be paid by the OP No. 1 to the complaint within 7 (seven) days from the date of this order. Hence they prayed to pass necessary order to that effect.
It appears from the statement of the parties that the matter has already been amicably settled and the complainant will receive the payment through cheque within 7(seven) days from the date of this order. Hence we think it is fit case it should be disposed through Lok Adalat for the settled amount.

Accordingly the instant case is disposed of through Lok Adalat.
Complainant, Nandita Roy Baul, is entitled to get a sum of Rs.31,000/- (Thirty one thousand) only as compensation from AIR India, OP No. 1.
OP No. 1 AIR India is directed to issue a cheque of Rs. 31,000/- (thirty one thousand) only in the name of the claimant, Nandita Roy Baul, within one week from the date of passing of this order failing which the award amount will carry interest at the rate of 9 per cent per annum.
If AIR India, OP No. 1 failed to pay the awarded amount, then claimant will be at liberty to execute the order/decree through due process of law.
