The complaint was filed by the complainant U/S 12 of Consumer Protection Act 1986 alleging deficiency in service in transporting the complainant’s goods from Hyderabad to Chennai along with direction to direct the opposite parties to pay compensation of Rs.30,000/- with interest 32% per annum towards the charges incurred in repairing the damaged articles and to pay a sum of Rs.1,00,000/-for service hardship, mental agony, pain and for suffering and to pay a sum of Rs.50,000/- towards deficiency in service and damages.
Opposites parties 1, 3 and 4 present. No representation for complainant in spite of sufficient opportunities given to appear and to prosecute. The complainant could not be contacted inspite of best efforts. Hence we are of the view that there is no purpose in keeping the complaint on file. Consumer Complaint is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs.
