Ms. Vinita Sasidharan, Advocate appears on behalf of the appellant and states that despite efforts, it has not been possible to get in touch with either the appellant or the local advocate. Moreover, according to the Registry this appeal has been filed after a delay of 1429 days. In view of the foregoing, the appeal is dismissed for want of prosecution, in default as well as on the ground of delay which has not been satisfactorily explained.
