JUDGMENT.

In the matter of an application u/s.121 of the C.P.Act,1986 filed by the complainant alleging deficiency in service against the opposite parties.
2. Complainant is consumer bearing No.912325020144 under the O.Ps Patnagarh. Paying regularly, the monthly bills. It is complained, the bill in the month of June 2014 in upsurge manner served with Rs 35,853/- without any reason. The complainant approached to correct the excess charged bill but they remained silent, thus the case.
3. Pursuant to notice, the O.Ps appeared and did not prefer to file the version as required for.
4. In the aforesaid circumstances, we prefer to proceed under sub section 2 of Sec.13 of the C.P.Act.
5 Heard and perused the documents on record. The document such as bill of June 2014 has been served in excessively charged ,whereas the monthly bill used to serve and paid almost nearly Rs 700/- - 800/- per month. The document does not reveal any irregularity or comissing of any charge. We convinced the problem maybe clerical or at meter reading one. So in such situation, we direct the O.Ps to correct the bill in question and waive off the amount without any demur and serve the correct bill within 30 days of this order, failing Rs 50/- per day will accrue as penalty, in non compliance till ensure of correction.
Thus the case is allowed on merit.
