Complainant files hazira through his ld. Counsel.

The President is present through online. Today is fixed for admission hearing of the instant consumer complaint.

 

Heard submissions of the ld. Counsel of the complainant. It appears complainant resides within the district of North 24 Parganas and O.P. Nos. 1 to 4 are of Bihar State and it has been mentioned that O.P.No.1 has one unit at Saigolden Plaza 2^nd Floor, Opp. ITI More Sevok Road, Siliiguri-1. Other O.P. Nos. 5 & 6 are also resident of North 24 Parganas.

 

The ld. Counsel of complainant has been asked to file a petition by affidavit as to whether the unit office of O.P. No.1 is within the jurisdiction of this commission or not by mentioning the police station.

 

The ld. Counsel of complainant has filed petition that he has no knowledge about the police station where O.P. No.1 has his unit office which has been mentioned in the complaint.

 

In such a situation where complainant and opposite parties are outside jurisdiction of this commission then this consumer complaint can’t be  admitted here.

 

However the complainant is at liberty to take necessary step within proper jurisdiction.

 

Hence the consumer complaint no. 14 of 2022 is not admitted for want of jurisdiction.
