The present case is a complaint by Shri Biswadev Dhali, filed against the Deputy Commissioner of South Andaman, Middle Andaman and North Andaman. Complainant has filed a case for a compensation of a sum of Rs.25,00,000/-(Rupees twenty five lakhs) for certain deficiency in connection with land of his father. The case does not come under the purview of Consumer Protection Act as the complainant failed to establish as to how the land matters which is covered under the Andaman Land Regulation can be brought before the Forum under Consumer Protection Act. The application is rejected.
