1. The case of the Complainant is that the Complainant was filed the case alleging deficiency in service and Unfair Trade Practice on the part of the OPs. The Complainant had ordered for some items for his house from the OPs on online mode and paid Rs. 2557/-. But due to non supply in time by the OPs, the Complainant cancelled the items on dtd. 8.11.23. Thereafter a message came to the Complainant that “Refund has been initiated to the original payment method, it will reflect in your account within 7 working days”. But after 15 days lapse, also no money was refunded by the Ops. After sending of several mails, the OPs did not respond. Hence this case.
2. The OPs are set exparte.
3. After going through the records, evidences and submission of Complainant, it is observed that the OPs did not refund the money of the Complainant and remain silent. So deficiency in service found against the OPs. Accordingly it is ordered.

                             ORDER

The O.Ps are directed to refund Rs. 2557/- with 9% interest from the date of payment till realisation, Rs. 20,000/- towards negligence, deficiency in service as Compensation and Rs. 10,000/- towards cost & litigation expenses of the petition to the Complainant within 30 days from the date of order, failing which the amount will further carry with 9% interest per annum till realization.

Order pronounced in the open Court today on 23^rd day of July, 2024.
