            The above complaint filed under section 12 of consumer protection Act for an order directing the opposite party to furnish detailed account of statement showing the amount legally due from the complainant and   to direct to close the loan account against the receipt of legally due amount.

          Attempt has been made for the settlement of the issue and meanwhile the final report of the Kerala State Farmers Debt Relief Commission has come out dated 10.12.2010. The said Final report detailed that inclusive of interest the present amount outstanding is `62288. The report followed saying the appropriate level of debt is fixed   `47240. As the applicant is entitled to debt relief, the commission in exercise of power conferred by section 5 (3) of the Kerala Farmer’s Debt Relief Commission Act, 2006, grants debt relief of `30000 which shall be taken over by Govt. The balance amount of  ` 17240 shall be remitted by the applicant on or before 30/12/2011.

          Since the basic problem solved by the Commission we are of the opinion that the relief sought in this complaint stands satisfied. Hence we feel that both parties shall come up to settle this matter based on the report of the Debt Relief Commission. Thus the complaint is allowed and we pass the order directing the opposite party to close the loan account of the complainant accepting the amount `17240(Seventeen Thousand Two hundred and forty only) from the complainant. There shall be no order as to cost.
