This is a complaint filed under section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 praying to direct the opposite parties to pay Rs.500/- towards costs of the watch along with interest @ 24% p.a., from the date of purchase or replace the watch with new one to pay Rs.1000/- towards compensation and Rs.500/- towards costs of the complaint in the interest of justice.
This complaint coming on this day for settlement of the case and upon the complainant represented by in person, opposite party No.1 represented by in person and opposite party No.2 called absent set exparte, and after perusing the material papers on record, the Forum made the following.
