          This is a complaint filed under section 17(1)(a)(i) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 by the Complainant seeking to pass order against the Opposite parties to:

 

(a)     pay a sum of Rs.15,00,000/- payable with interest at the rate of 18% thereon from the date of filing till the date of payment towards refund of the fees and other miscellaneous expenses the Complainant had to incur at Indus, additional expenditure incurred towards admission in Jain International School and damages towards the harassment and mental agony suffered by the Complainant and his family owing to the deficiency of service by the Opposite parties the additional expenses incurred towards private tuition fees and towards the mental stress and agony suffered due to loss of academic year in re-appearing for the 11th Grade and 12th Grade under the Cambridge Curriculum,

 

(b)     to pay a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- towards damages for hampering the educational career of the Complainant by enticing the complainant through its public misrepresentation, thus indulging in unfair trade practice,

 

(c)     to award costs of the complaint, and

 

(d)     pass such other relief or reliefs as this Hon’ble Commission deems fit and proper in the interest of justice.

 

2.       Counsel for the Complainant filed a memo on 04.05.2015 to the effect that due to urgency in seeking interim relief in the matter, he is withdrawing the complaint. 

 

3.       There is no representation on behalf of the Complainant today.  There was also no representation on the previous date of hearing. Perused the memo. 

4.       In view of the memo filed and the circumstances stated in the memo, the above complaint is dismissed as withdrawn.
