The respondent no.1 intimated the appellant about the damage caused to his tobacco barns and he submitted the claim along with the relevant documents to the appellant. The appellant contends that it had paid the amount in full and final settlement of the claim to the respondent no.2. It is not the case of the appellant that the respondent no.2 submitted the claim. `1867/- to the respondent no.2.
