ORAL ORDER

          None present for the Complainant even on second call.  Today Complainant failed to appear before this Forum without any sufficient reason.  Perusal of the order-sheet reveals that so was the position even on previous two dates viz. 23/03/2017 and 31/01/2017.  There is no report available on record as regards service of notice to Opposite Party.  Complainant did not take appropriate steps for service of notice to the Opposite Party, through this Forum in compliance with earlier order dated 31/01/2017 passed by this Forum.  Thus, in these peculiar circumstances, it is evident that Complainant has lost his interest in further prosecution of present consumer complaint.  In such circumstances, it is not desirable to prolong the case.  Hence, consumer complaint stands dismissed for want of prosecution in accordance with the provisions of Section-13(2)(c) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 read with Rule-4(7) of the Maharashtra Consumer Protection Rules, 2000.  Parties shall bear their own costs.
