ORAL ORDER

          We have heard learned counsel Adv. Pravin Ramesh Vairal on behalf of the Complainant on the point of admission of complaint.  With his help we have also carefully perused the pleadings of the Complainant together with an affidavit in lieu of evidence filed by the Complainant.  It reveals from the pleadings that Complainant is seeking the relief of injunction against the Opposite Party viz. Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd.  There are no allegations as regards defects in goods purchased or deficiency in services rendered by the Opposite Party.  In these peculiar circumstances, it is considered opinion of this Forum that this is a case of infringement of civil rights and as such, this Forum has no jurisdiction entertain, try and present consumer complaint as the dispute between the parties is not a ‘consumer dispute’, as contemplated under Section-2(1)(e) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986.  Hence, consumer complaint is not admitted and stands rejected in limine.  No order as to costs.
