    I HAVE BOUGHT A 7 up FOUNTAIN AT 1715 Hrs AT STALL NO 32 OF PLATFORM NO 4 OF BHUBANESWAR RAILWAY STATION NEAR R P F OFFICE AT THE TIME OF NEELACHAL EXPRESS WHICH WAS LATE ON 13-02-2011 FROM NEW DELHI TO PURI,DIPLAY BOARD SHOWS AS Rs10 BUT WAITER CHARGED Rs 15 FROM ME.PLEASE CHANGE THE RATES IN THE DISPLAY BOARD OR TAKE ACTION WITHIN 24 HRS OR I HAVE TO GO TO CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT.     RCTC Server Problem
    Amount deducted but ticket not booked
    I tried to book the ticket but I am unable to generate the Ticket via IRCTC however the amount has deducted from my account hence I am requesting you to please refund the amount.

    We travelled in train no. 12434 from 04.03.2011 to 05.03.2011 but we are sorry to inform you that on last day food was not proper and no curd & ice cream was served on dt. 05.03.2011 in dinner. When asked about it, it was told that there is no stock.

    Afterwards, some money is collected by waiters from passengers which is not graceful.

    i prateek robra serving in indian air force has done reservation through return warrant from kanpur to amla of which amount has been deducted and the details of ticket is PNR NO.2417875482 from kanpur to amla journey date 28/02/11. But when i went to parasia railway station booking counter booking clerk Nitin has denied me to give reservation from amla to bhopal in 11103,patalkot express and from bhopal to kanpur in 15016,YPR-Gorakhpur express which is in the same route with shortest distance and i had followed the same route while coming from kanpur to amla.please look in to the matter and see that money of ministry of defence which is already deducted should be made use of.

    Hello sir we have booked i-ticket for the journey on 10th march but yet 8th we not recieved the ticket

    I booked the ticket on 10-03-2011, at 11:47 am dated 10-03-2011 train no. - 14257, and at 12:30 an update was there that the train is cancelled due to some reason.
    and after the information i cancelled the ticket but the amount of Rs 296 was deducted, and no TDR file history is coming.
    So kindly look into the matter and take the necessary action.

    I was trying to do a ticket as I found tickets where available and proceded and finally I clicked on the Make Payment. I found the money is dedectued from Bank also.

    But the IRCTC site has given me some funny message Saying ( Request to bank failed or something like that)

    Now I have the following queries:-

    1. Why are they proceding with the Make payment if you don't have the availability
    2. Or are they not freezing the seat the moment user click on the make payment option
    3. After having decducted the amount, why are they trying to fool the users by giving scrap messages.
    4. Now my money is blocked till the time it is returned, Who is responsible for this.

    Last 4 years of my experience is that, Could not book not even a single ticket between 8 am - 8.20 am. I will be getting many errorr like.. System error, Page could not found, Server error etc. And everything become alright by 8.30 am and by the time the ticket would have got full...
    Let Indian Railway makes it clear to the public that irctc booking allowed only after half an hours booking from the Railway counter, so that the public is not getting fooled.

    Dear sir


    i have booked e ticket and cancelled e-ticket due to train is running late by more than 3 hours.i have filed TDR against E-Ticket PNR No: 6351733153 and TDR Reference number.ekt2011011102003974 and i have got refunded amount of Rs 1552-/( 50% of ticket value) only. Actually as per railway rules if train is more than 3 hours late the refund amount should be full value of ticket of Rs 3104/-. More than three month completed but money not refunded by IRCTC.Kindly consider this issue and take action.

    dear sir,
    i.ve facing lot of problem abut irctc staff. ist of all they with passenger very roughly. take meals rate anything. also tell him their service charges. main things they full amt but dont give water. in summer season how to passengers live without water. plz do the need full. train no.16323

    I am prabhugouda Malipatil I have booked a ticket from Tatanagar(TATA) to Kolkatta(HWH) on 14 th may 2011 at 04:22:29 but in the irctc ticket Date of Journey is 14th may 2011 & sceduled Departure:23:37.But when i going to Tatanagar Railway station all the peoples are saying in the night there is no trains to kolkatta.So,what i have to do in that time i have booked a flight ticket from kolkatta to bangalore on 15 th may 2011 at 6:15am.But your website is misguiding me & i am loosing 7027Rs of flight ticket.i can't cancel the ticket also please get me the solution.I hope you will take serious action on this complaint.

    my login ID fro which i was booking tickets has been suddenly blocked by irctc without any prior message,My refund is still pending on that ID, I have sent many mails on the customer care but no reply is comming, Now please suggest me waht should i do?

    A reservation ticket was booked for journey dated 31.05.2011 from Dehradun to New Delhi by A/C Exp 12206, PNR 2550167267 which was wait listed. The status of ticket was inquired at 20.55 Hrs through SMS and was intimated as RAC 8 but was again inquired at 21.12 Hrs and was intimated by SMS as W/L-1. I got my alternate arrangement cancelled in the mean time which caused great inconvenience to me. Why should I not held Indian Railway responsible for this? Please look in to the matter and allow compensation for the inconvenience.

    Against wait Listed tickets now it is mentioned that "Till the chart is prepared the status can be upgraded /downgraded", it is not acceptable, it shows there is manipulation at the time of preparation of Chart, the status can be upgraded but How can it be downgraded, requires clarification.

    I Booked two ticket having Pnr no as 4231005813 ( madurai to chennai) vaigai express and 4331006171 ( chennai to jaipur ) jaipur express and the journey dated is on 16-07-2011 and as per the irctc through sbi net banking , they levied 10 rupee service charge for 2s class in vaigai express and 20 rupees on 3 AC in jaipur express. But On The Next Day Again Rs.10 Was Deducted By IRCTC From My SBI Account Without My Authorization Transaction Details Are Given Below.

    my name k.pavan kumar presently i am living in gujarat i booked a ticket in irctc with S.B.I atm debit card (online) from ahmedabad jn (adi) to delhi on 20-08-2011 i didt get p.n.r number i lost 363 rupees in this transaction. after this transaction i got the message POS 123076590733 IRCTC in my online S.B.I account.

    My Name is S.T.DAMODARAM, whle booking the e ticket on 27-08-2011 from IRCTC the ticked is not booked
    but the amount (i.e.Rs 2390-00) has been deducted twice with transction No is POS PRCH & POS 123993717118 IRCTC and CREDITED to my SB A/C one time only. So far that amount is not credited to my account.

    I have filed tdr on 3/12/10 with ref. no-ekt2010123001852750 about non travelled in train no-2872,ispat express from jharsuguda to tatanagar.the pnr no. was 6447912881,e-ticket having transaction id-0278746420.after several complains no fruitful result have been cameout.so,at last i am requesting you to do the needful by which i can get back my amount at the earliest.

    Hello Sir,Please refer to attached complaint registered by us.
    I was travelling from KR Puram Bangalore to Dadar Mumbai on train no 16340 Mumbai Express PNR No : 4233645101 My name is Keyur Mistry. I boarded the train at 9.50 PM from KR Puram Bangalore, since it was a friday we worked late in office and did not had our Dinner we were aware of Pantry service in Mumbai Express train. But when we boarded the train the Pantry was closed at 10.15 PM we went to pantry car knocked the door & asked for food. but they said we are closed we can not servce you anything. NO WATER NO FOOD, NO BISCUITS, NO FRUITS,,NOTHING AVAILABLE. We got this answer, there were 2 more passengers with me we all slept EMPTY STOMACH. If there were a diabetic patient he would have DIED of hunger. Next day morning P.R. Chandrashekhar pantry supervisor denied any complaint register but later when i came with TT he gave us the complaint book. I have attached the complaint with this email.


    REQUEST YOU TO AT LEAST PROVIDE BASIC FOOD AND WATER TILL 11PM. THIS IS FOR THE SAKE OF HUMANITY.

    Hello,
    Sir/Ma'am, I did an online TATKAL reservation from IRCTC website on 6th Oct'11, for my journey on 8th Oct'11 from Guwahati to Howrah junction. I hold an IRCTC account as well as I do possess SBI net banking facility, so I did my transaction through the same. But as the process was about to be completed, at the last moment, the SBI website redirected the page to IRCTC website as the transaction was complete, but the moment the IRCTC website opened, it displayed the message "SORRY CONNECTION PROBLEM: ERR-200". Hence he tickets was not generated and a sum of amout RS. 459 was deducted from my account.

    The same has happened the very next day, as I need to reach Kolkata on or before 10th Oct'11, so I attempted once again on 7th Oct'11 for tatkal reservation from Guwahati to Howrah for journey on 9th, but unfortunately this time too, the same was repeated.

    On 6th Oct'11 I sent a mail to the mail ID:care@irctc.co.in with the following message: "Hi, I am a regular traveller, and I do my online booking using Net Banking. I have an IRCTC Account in the name HEMEN DAS. Today in the morning around 8:30 AM, I booked a ticke on TATKAL Basis from Guwahati (GHY) to Howrah (HWH) on 9-10-2011. But my ticket was not generated as the ticket amount has been deduced from my Bank Account.

And they sent me an auto reply wih this reference number: [IRCTC #1920801] I am a student studying in Kolkata, even a single rupee is of immense value for me. And in this case I have lonst an amount of Rs. 459 + Rs. 459= Rs. 918, which is equal to my 1 week's expense.

    Sir/Ma'am, I hope that the consumer court will help me out and do the needful for retrieving hte amount which was deducted but without any returns.

    I had filed TDR on behalf of my wife travelling thru Pnr
    Number 2654147897 . As far I am aware of the rules, since the train was running
    late by more than 3 Hrs and the passenger did not board the train n opted for
    cancellation, FULL REFUND is granted. I had file the TDR before 12Hrs (for
    journey of >500Kms).


    And had checked the status of the train after it crossed
    lucknow. The train WAS MORE THAN 3HR LATE.


    But still received only 50% of the fare i.e 604Rs as refund.

    even after sending several reminders i have not got the due claim. Now my mails are getting bounced from the email id tdrprocess@irctc.co.in . The phone no. 01132976609 says ..pls check the number u have dialled. I am left with no oother choice than to complain against this apathy shown by IRCTC Pls help.

    . Official said Tatkal booking will be opened before 2 days... I kept my eye on net and was following the number of seats... It was Available-30...and could not book due to restrictions of two days... Fine... All of the sudden, Available has become-005 just three days before... Where was all the Tatkal tickets gone? What about restriction of two days...
    I TRIED BOOKING ON 13TH OF OCTOBER FOR MANTRALAYA TO BANGALORE ON 15TH OCTOBER.WHEN I STARTED THE PROCESS THERE WERE 100 SEATS IN NANDED EXPRESS,AFTER LOGGING IN AND COMPLETING THE FORM I SUBMITTED BUT IT TOOK SOME 3-4 MIN AND FINALLY SHOWED ERROR MESSAGE..WHEN I RELOGGED IN AND SAW THE VACCANT SEATS THERE WAS ONLY WAITING LIST SEATS 5.
    APART FROM THIS EVEN THOUGH THE SITE IS NOT OPEN FOR 16TH OCTOBER I COULD SEE THE REDUCTION IN THE NUBER OF SEATS GRADUALLY FROM 30 TO 5.HOW CAN ANYONE BOOK THE TATKAL SEATS WITHOUT THE SITE BEING OPENED.
    RECENTLY I CAME ACROSS THE NEWS IN THE LEADING NEWS PAPERS REG THE TATKAL SCAM SOMEWERE IN U.P,WHERE THE AGENTS HACKED THE IRCTC SITE USING A SOFTWARE AND USED TO BOOK THE TICKETS PRIOR TO ITS OFFICIAL OPENING.I THINK THIS SCAM IS JUST A TIP OF THE ICEBURG WHICH HAS BEEN ROOTED DEEPLY USED BY THE AGENTS EVERYWHERE.
    SOMETHING MUST BE DONE AT THE EARLIEST FOR THIS FRAUDULENT AGENTS

    I booked a 2A ticket of amount Rs. 3766/- from irctc site to travel on 31/8/2011 by Jammu-Bandra Spl express at 9.30 am. from Jammu tawi to Mumbai bandra terminus PNR - 2425362448.
    I filed a TDR (Ref. no. ekt2011083103175970) for the same before travel because train was late for 17 hrs. ( more than 3 hrs.), TDR status on IRCTC site is : Forwarded to Railway, and Refund status : is Refund under process. It has been more than 1 and 1/2 month for TDR.

    So please help to refund my cancelled ticket amount & reply me on mail i.e. santosh_more69@hotmail.com.
